Do you cater corporate events and office lunches in Ottawa?
Yes. We cater office lunches, corporate events, and private parties across Ottawa. We do large bao orders for pickup and delivery, plus on-site catering with our bao cart or steam barrel. Order online or start a catering inquiry and tell us your headcount.
What is your catering minimum, and what does it cost per person?
Catering orders for pickup and delivery can be placed online any time, whatever the size of your gathering. For serviced events, our minimum is 12 guests, starting at $30 per person. For groups of 60 or more we offer party planning packages starting at $50 per person, with menu, format, and service planned with you.
How far in advance do I need to book catering?
3 business days for office orders. For larger events we recommend 1 to 2 weeks, and holiday season books up fast, so the earlier you reach out the better.
Do you deliver catering, and what areas do you serve?
We deliver across downtown Ottawa, Centretown, the Glebe, and the wider Ottawa-Gatineau area. Office orders can also be picked up from 365 Bank Street.
Do you have vegan, halal, and gluten-free catering options?
Yes. We run a dedicated vegan fryer and a dedicated halal fryer. Our beef brisket and fried chicken are halal, and we have vegan bao and vegan platters. For gluten-free guests, only items marked gluten-free on the menu are gluten-free, like our taro chips, mushroom congee, and pepper-salt chicken or lion’s mane bites. We also plan for nut-free guests, so tell the team about dietary needs when you order.
Can you host a private event or holiday party at the restaurant?
Yes. You can book out our Centretown location at 365 Bank Street for private events, team dinners, and holiday parties, drinks menu included.
What are the bao cart and the steam barrel?
Fresh steamed bao for on-site serviced events. The steam barrel is our indoor setup, a steel drum with bamboo baskets, for charming street food vibes. The bao cart is the original Gongfu Bao Cart presence for larger outdoor events, steam barrel included.
What kind of food do you cater?
